Please, do yourself a solid. Use this instead of buying some pre-made crust.

3 cups flour
1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
1 cup shortening
½ cup milk
1 egg

Mix together the dry ingredients

Add shortening, then “cut” the shortening into the dry mix until the shortening is about the size of peas

Add milk and egg, and mix together, as little as possible

This dough is very flaky. A single batch will make one covered pie and maybe one open pie. I usually roll it out on wax or parchment paper (or even between two sheets)

Leftover dough can be rolled out into strips, coated with cinnamon-sugar and cooked for about 10 minutes for pie-crust cookies
